MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – 10 Santa Ana College student-athletes were awarded $1,500 scholarships raised from the 2019 Ed Arnold Golf Classic that was held on Monday, May 6th at the Mission Viejo Country Club.
The annual fundraising event is a staple of Santa Ana College and a joint effort between the SAC Advancement Office & Foundation, the Santa Ana College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and the SAC Kinesiology & Athletics Department.
With 129 golfers and 36 sponsors, the 2019 Ed Arnold Golf Classic had a gross income of over $100,000 that will be used to continue to improve the experiences of Santa Ana College student-athletes as well as provide future scholarships.
