Long Chooses Prairie View A&M

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana's sophomore libero Kayla Long has chosen to continue her academic and athletic career at Prairie View A&M University after one year with the Dons.

Long came to the Dons after spending one year at La Sierra University and made an immediate impact in her lone season. She led the Dons in digs with 274 while adding 24 assists and 10 service aces. The sophomore out of Downey High also ranked third in the Orange Empire Conference in digs per set at 3.86 and seventh in total digs.

Prairie View A&M University is an NCAA Division I school that competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Panthers placed sixth in the SWAC in 2017 with a record of 7-10.
