HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – On Friday, the Santa Ana Beach Volleyball team played in its first triple header of the season as they hosted Cypress, Fullerton and Golden West at the Huntington Beach Newland Courts.
The Dons finished 1-2 on the day with losses to Cypress and Golden West along with a win over Fullerton.
Santa Ana's undefeated No. 1 pair composed of Viridiana Serrano and Mikelle Taylor had some tough competition, being pushed to three sets in two of three of their matches. The veteran pair found a way to win in the end, improving to 11-0 on the year.
As a team, the Dons are now 6-6, 0-2 overall with five regular season matches left to go. They'll be back in action on Friday, March 30th to host Orange Coast and Riverside at the Huntington Beach Newland Courts starting at 10:00 a.m.
