Wilson Commits to Cal State Northridge

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Sophomore centerfielder, Chad Wilson, has committed to Cal State Northridge to continue his academic and athletic career.  Wilson, originally out of La Mirada High, spent one year with the Dons after transferring from Fresno State.

The right hander hit .257 with 21 runs batted in and 12 stolen bases in 42 games.  Wilson also appeared in five games as a pitcher, striking out 10 in 10.2 innings.

On February 26th, Wilson had one of his best games of the season as he went 3-4 with four runs, three stolen bases and an RBI to help the Dons to a 10-5 win over Cerritos.

Wilson will join the NCAA Division I Cal State Northridge Matadors. The Matadors finished the 2019 year with a 23-32 record and placed fifth in the Big West Conference standings.
