Reece Buckles, Tyler Cordell, Nate Cox, Ian Miller and Woody Quinn each turned in a GPA of 3.64 or higher as they were named to the 26-player All-Academic Team.
Now an annual event for the Dons, several of the players spent part of their offseason volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House of Orange County at the 2013 Walk for Kids.
After four early commitments, the Dons have added another 10 student-athletes that will be continuing their academic and athletic careers at four-year universities.
After pursuing a collegiate volleyball career, Quinn transitioned to tight end with the Dons. After two seasons at SAC, Quinn will continue his academic and football career at the University of Tennessee.
Nate Cox, Marc Millan and Davion Orphey each signed a National Letter of Intent to compete at a four-year University. All three were named to All-Defense this last season.
The Santa Ana College (SAC) football team relinquished the "Victory Flag" to rival Orange Coast College (OCC) after the visiting Pirates defeated the Dons 25-22 in the final game of the season.
