SANTA ANA- Dons football lost their first conference match against the East Los Angeles College Huskies 26-21. 

Conner Miller scored the first touchdown in 10th minute of the game and with good field goal kick by Jonah Mack to start the games for the Dons at 7-0. Then Kameron Taylor received a 23 yard pass from Conner Miller for their second touchdown leading the Huskies at 14-0. Kameron Taylor scored once more in the first quarter with another 10 yard pass from Connor Miller at 21-0. The Huskies then ended the quarter with a seven yard pass touchdown to end the first quarter at 21-6.

In the second quarter, East Los Angeles College scored their second touchdown and field goal to end half time at 21-13. The Huskies then silenced the Dons in the third quarter by scoring another touchdown at 21-19.

During the fourth quarter, East Los Angeles College scored a final touchdown in last two minutes of the game for the win over the Dons at 26-19.

Dons football will play again on Saturday, Oct. 8, at LA Southwest at 6:00 p.m.
