BYU Hires Former Santa Ana Assistant Preston Hadley

PROVO, Utah – This offseason, Brigham Young University Head Football Coach Kalani Sitake announced some key changes in his coaching staff, including the addition of former Don assistant Preston Hadley.

After his playing career at BYU, Hadley spent two years with the Cougars as a graduate assistant before joining Santa Ana in 2015. With the Dons, he worked with cornerbacks and special teams while also serving as the recruiting coordinator.

"Preston is one of the finest coaches I have been around", Santa Ana Co-Head Coach Geoff Jones said. "He is a self-starter, has incredible energy and knowledge, and, most importantly he cares deeply about the well-being of his student-athletes. I hope he coaches my son someday."

The following year Hadley was hired as the secondary coach at Weber State and helped them win 18 games and a Big Sky Conference Championship in two seasons.

Hadley will return home to join the Cougars for the 2018 season as the safeties coach.
