SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana football will host the LA Southwest Cougars on Saturday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. in its 2018 Homecoming game. Pre-game festivities will include a pep rally hosted by the Santa Ana College Associated Student Government on Thursday, October 4th. The event will be held from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the new amphitheater on campus.
Free food, gear and games will be some highlights of the event. All students, staff and faculty are welcome to join the fun.
ABOUT THE GAME
The two teams will meet up for their first American Metro League game of the season. The defending AML champion Dons go into the game with a 1-3 overall record while the Cougars sit at 1-4 after five weeks of football. In last year's matchup, the Dons defeated the Cougars by a score of 44-14. They hope for a similar result to earn their second win of the season.
