SAC Football to Host Glendale in Final Home Game

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Following a 35-24 win over the West LA Wildcats (3-6, 1-3) in week 10, the Santa Ana Football team returns home for their final game of the 2022 regular season.

The Dons (4-5, 3-1) looked solid on both sides of the ball in the win. Offensively, they added a dimension they've been missing all year with 111 rushing yards on 25 attempts. Jamiel Henning led the way with 78 yards and two touchdowns on 13 touches. William Sullivan Jr. returned to the field to contribute with 14 yards and a touchdown of his own.

Dallen Engemann got the start at quarterback once again and had an impressive showing. The freshman from Provo, Utah threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns on the day. He also added 19 yards on the ground in seven attempts.

Kristian Constantine was the biggest weapon for the Dons, recording 14 receptions for 147 yards. Tyler Hampton also had himself a nice day with three catches for 50 yards and a touchdown.

On the defensive side, the Dons gave up 430 yards of offense to the Wildcats but got stops when they needed to. West LA finished just 8-18 on third down tries and 2-4 on fourth down. SAC forced four turnovers and added four more sacks to their season total.

Mati Armstrong was in the backfield all day as the freshman from Redlands collected six tackles including a sack and a forced fumble. Gabriel Magana came up with six tackles as well as a pass breakup.

Santa Ana will now host Glendale (5-4, 1-3) as they try to finish the season at .500 while playing spoiler to the Vaqueros, who need a win for a chance to secure a bowl game berth.
