SANTA ANA, Calif. – Sean Githens knocked down six threes on his way to a career high 20 points in Santa Ana's Orange Empire Conference matchup with the Santiago Canyon Hawks.
Although the Dons got a big performance from Githens off the bench, they still couldn't overcome the three-point barrage (18 3PM) from the Hawks, dropping the game by a score of 82-67.
The Dons held their own on the boards, outrebounding the Hawks by one but turned over the ball 21 times, which slimmed their chances in a game where their opponents just could not miss.
Githens led the way for the Dons with 20 points, followed by Chris Bailey (12 pts/5 rbs), Ronald Ellison (11 pts/5 rbs) and Blake Pullen (10 pts).

Santa Ana will finish its four game homestand on Wednesday, January 30th at 5:00 p.m. against the Saddleback Gauchos (13-8, 4-1). It will also be Santa Ana College Scholar-Athlete Night as all 2018-19 scholar-athletes will be recognized during half time.
