Lopez Drops 25, Dons Fall to Saddleback

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana men's basketball team kept things close against the Saddleback Gauchos on Wednesday night but ultimately lost the game by a score of 83-66.

Ramon Lopez got back on track with 25 points after having a tough shooting night against SCC. Chris Bailey chipped in with 14 points, three rebounds and three assists while Ronald Ellison had a solid nine point, six rebound night.

BY THE NUMBERS

The Dons were punished by the three ball once again as Saddleback shot 50 percent (9-18) from behind the arc while shooting 60.4 percent from the field. Santa Ana did get to the free throw line 10 more times than the Gauchos, knocking down 21 of them which kept them in the game.
