SANTA ANA - In their first meeting since Rio Hondo College ended their 2011 season, the Dons avenged that loss with a 2-0 win on Friday over the Roadrunners. With the shut out win, SAC has yet to allow a goal this season with their first game ending in a scoreless tie.

The Dons didn't waste any time to get their first score of the season with Christian Duarte sending a long pass across the box where Victor Jimenez gathered the ball and found the back of the net, putting the Dons up 3-0 in the 13th minute.

Ivan Orozco added to the lead when he took a short pass from Uriel Rebollar in the middle of the box. A quick shot beat Rio Hondo's keeper as the Dons took a 2-0 lead in the 37th minute.

Chris Martinez turned away both shots he faced to pick up the shut out while his counterpart, Edward Maya, allowed two goals while making eight saves.
