Dons Put Six on All-OEC Teams, Cuhna Tabbed Co-MVP

SANTA ANA, Calif. –  The Santa Ana College Men's Soccer team took six spots on the All-Orange Empire Conference teams including the Co-Most Valuable Player in Matheus Cuhna.

Sophomore's Joseph Vasquez, Noe Alvizo-Chavez and Daniel Castro were all named to the conference's first-team while Joshua Castellon and Paulo Gama were given second-team honors.

The accolades come after the Dons placed third in the conference with a record of 7-2-5, qualifying for the CCCAA Regionals for the second year in a row.

Cuhna earned Co-MVP honors after scoring five goals and dishing out five assists in conference play. This marks the second year in a row that Santa Ana has had the conference MVP with Oscar Navarro winning the award last year.

The Dons will continue their season with a regional playoff game against Compton College being held at El Camino College on Saturday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults; $8 for senior citizens (60+), staff/faculty with valid ID, students with valid ID and children 12 and under, per CCCAA guidelines. Only CCCAA-approved passes will be honored for free admission.
