SANTA ANA, Calif. – It was a successful 2017 season for the Santa Ana Men's Soccer team as they finished third in the Orange Empire Conference standings and advanced the CCCAA Regional Playoffs for the second consecutive season.
The Dons went 10-5-6 overall and 7-2-5 in conference play, earning 12th seed in regional play. They traveled to Compton College and were eliminated after being edged 1-0 against the Tartars.
Santa Ana could hold their heads up high after competing with some of the best competition all season and showing great individual skill with six players being named to the All-Orange Empire Conference teams while forward Matheus Cuhna was tabbed Co-MVP.
On Tuesday, the Dons will be on the road to start the season against East LA at 4:00 p.m.
