Men’s Soccer Set to Face Santa Barbara in Round One of CCCAA SoCal Regionals

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana men's soccer is set to face the No. 8 seed Santa Barbara on the road in round one of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) SoCal Regionals on Saturday, November 23rd.

Originally, the Dons were matched up with conference foe Golden West but due to updates in RPI rankings, the Dons moved up from the 10th seed to the ninth.

Santa Barbara finished the season with a 10-4-5 record and placed fourth in the Western State – North Conference standings.

The Dons were just a couple wins away from an Orange Empire Conference title but stumbled to the finish line, closing the season with a 10-6-4 record to take fourth place in the OEC.

This will be the fourth straight playoff appearance for the storied men's soccer program. They'll attempt to get to the second round for the third time in four years.

Game time is at 2:30 p.m. at La Playa Stadium on the campus of Santa Barbara City College.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $8 for students (with valid ID), staff/faculty, senior citizens (60+) and children under 12 years of age. Only CCCAA-approved passes will be honored.
