SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana College Men's Water Polo team hosted Fullerton College in its last home game of the season on Wednesday afternoon.
Santa Ana put up a good fight but was defeated 21-10 by the Hornets, dropping their 5th Orange Empire Conference match of the season.
In the first period, Alex Delgleize scored the first goal of the game to give the Dons an early lead. Fullerton responded quickly to take the lead back and did not look back from there on out.
Eli Lew led the Dons in scoring with seven goals on the day while Delgleize, Jack Capifoni and Tony Anwar pitched in with one apiece.
The Dons will travel to Cypress College for the OEC Championships on November 2nd for their next match.
