SANTA ANA, Calif. – After just one year with the Santa Ana College Softball team, freshman infielder/catcher Tiana Patrick has signed with the No. 21 ranked Louisiana Lafayette Ragin Cajuns.
Patrick hit the ground running in her lone season as a Don with a team high 19 stolen bases, 45 hits and 14 runs batted in while posting a .345 batting average.
The freshman from Eleanor Roosevelt High played in 39 games for the Dons and was named to the All-Orange Empire Conference First Team.
She'll join the Ragin Cajuns, who are currently ranked No. 21 in the nation with a record of 38-13 overall. The University of Louisiana Lafayette is an NCAA Division I School that competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
