RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Dons Track & Field program traveled to Riverside for its first Orange Empire Conference meet of the season on Friday. As a team, Santa Ana came in third behind Riverside and Saddleback for both men and women but had a couple individuals that stood out in their events.

Santa Ana's lone hurdler, Octavio Moreno, held his own in both of his events as he placed in the top two for both and brought home eight points for the team. In the 110m hurdle race, Moreno clocked in at 16.03 for a second place finish. He followed that up with a dominating performance in the 400m hurdles, placing first with a time of 56.82.
