Dons Season Comes to an End at #1 Ventura College in Second Round

VENTURA - The Dons season came to an in the second round of the California Community College Athletic Association Women's Basketball Southern Regional Championships to the top-seeded Ventura College Pirates.

The host Pirates shot 47% in the game to give them the 95-52 victory while the Dons were held to just 29% for the game. The biggest stat came from behind the three-point line where the Dons went 0-for-14.

Ashley Whisler was the only SAC scorer to hit double digits as she scored 24 points, mainly from the free throw line where she finished 10-for-10. Jazmine Johnson finished with nine points and 10 rebounds while Carly Ducat added eight points for the Dons.
