SANTA ANA- The Dons got a goal from freshman Lizbeth Gonzalez, but it wasn't enough to take down El Camino College for the win.

In the first half of the women's soccer match against El Camino, both teams fought defensively. Goalkeeper Reyna Campos had one save to keep the score at 0-0.

The Warriors scored the first goal of the match in the 63rd minute and the second goal in the 79th minute. Gonzalez showcased her goal in the 84th minute to keep the game alive, but there wasn't enough time to keep the Dons from suffering from their first loss of the season.

Women's soccer will play again on Tuesday, Sept 13 at Golden West College at 3:00 p.m. in their first conference match.
