SANTA ANA- Women's soccer defeats Golden West College in conference match at 1-0

In the first half of the match, the Dons took control offensively by having the first two shots on goal by freshman Lizbeth Gonzalez and sophomore Kacee Thoren. Then, in the 34th minute, sophomore Vivian Garcia shot and scored for the Dons to lead the half at 1-0.

In the second half of the match, the Rustlers remained scoreless to give the Dons the conference win at 1-0.

Dons soccer will play again on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Norco at 3:00 p.m.
