SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana women's soccer team was defeated by a score of 2-1 against the Saddleback Gauchos on Friday afternoon in another Orange Empire Conference match.
Saddleback took an early lead, scoring in the 30th minute but quickly gave that lead up with an own goal just three minutes later.
The Dons battled to keep the Gauchos off the board but let one slip through as Saddleback scored again in the 65ht minute to break the tie.
Santa Ana drops to 4-7-2 overall and 2-6-1 in OEC play while Saddleback improves to 6-4-3, 3-4-2.
