SANTA ANA, Calif. – On Wednesday, the Orange Empire Conference announced its 2018 Women's Soccer All-Conference teams.
The Dons took four spots on the list, with Lauryn Wood and Leyna Wood being named to the first team while Brianna Ceballos and Fatima Pimentel played their way to the second team.
Freshman forward Leyna Wood finished with 12 goals on the season, good for third most in the OEC to along with two assists while her sister Lauryn came up with seven goals (11th) and four assists in the midfielders first collegiate season.
Brianna Ceballos played a big role on defense for the Dons in her sophomore season, starting in all 20 games and anchoring the Santa Ana back line. She also showed some ability on offense with four goals in the last five games of the season.
The Dons called on defender Fatima Pimentel to step in at goalkeeper for the second half of season and she did not disappoint, racking up 57 saves in 10 starts at the position. The freshman also added an assist to her stats before making the switch.
Santa Ana placed seventh in the OEC with a 5-11-4, 3-10-3 record in 2018.
