SANTA ANA- Dons women's water polo falls to Cypress College 12-3 in their second home match of the season.
Freshman Alejandra Barajas scored the first goal for the Dons in the second quarter with a swift back hand to the top left corner. In the third quarter, freshman Katy Salgado and freshman Kaylah Margo each scored one goal. Freshmen Esmeralda Roman, Kristi Mertins, and Kaylah Margo each had one assist.
Goalkeeper freshman Victoria Lopez had six saves for the Dons in the cage.
Women's water polo will play again on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Fullerton College in their next Orange Empire Conference Match at 3:00 p.m.
