Dons Score Season High but Drop Match to OCC

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana College Women's Water Polo team followed the men's game with a good effort against Orange Coast College.

The women played at home for the first time this season and put up seven points, which is the most they have had all season.

Even though the Dons had a good offensive day, they failed to come up with the win, falling to the Pirates 26-7.

Diana Gomez gave the Dons their first point in the first quarter but then Emy Castaneda took over from there, scoring six points in quarters two through four.

The Lady Dons will join the men in a doubleheader against Golden West College on Wednesday, Oct. 11th at Fullerton College. The men will begin at 3:00 p.m. and the ladies are scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
