SAN DIEGO- Sophomore Paulino Sanchez took second place with a time of 20:47 at a 5:12 pace at the 2016 Palomar Invitational in the first cross country meet of the 2016 season. Following behind Sanchez was freshman Dalton Aviles, who took ninth place with 21:38 time. 

Men's cross country continued to place with freshman Awal Hussen and sophomore Brian Ambrocio. Freshman Lizbeth Luciano took 16th for the women's team with a time of 20:43.

Cross Country will run again on Friday, Sept 16 at the SoCal Preview at 10:00 a.m.
