Sophomore Toni Lopez placed 3rd out of 244 participants at the SoCal Preview for Santa Ana College Cross Country with a time of 19:03.96. Sophomore Paulino Sanchez placed 5th out of 317 athletes for the men's cross country team with a time of 20:59.09.  Freshman Dalton Aviles from Anaheim High School also placed 10th for the Dons.

The Men's team grabbed 6th place overall out of 32 teams, while the women's team placed 7th out of 31 teams. 

Santa Ana College Cross Country will race again on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Golden West Invitational.
