Class of 2010

The 1940 football team finished 11-0 while winning the first ever National Championship in SAC history. The 11 wins stands as the most wins in a single season in SAC history.

Two years later, the 1942 team finished 9-0 while winning the National Championship. The nine wins capped off the Dons 17-game winning streak, a record that still stands.

Members of the teams include Hall of Fame members Paul Cleary, Bruce Gelker, Bill Gulley, Vic Lindskog, Lester “Bus” McKnight and Charlie “Chuck” Page.
