During the 1989 and 1990 seasons, Conrad Colby carried the Don offense as he hit over .400 in both seasons while driving in 101 runs, scoring 100 himself and hitting 10 home runs.
 
The lefty out of Estancia High School was named All-State and First Team All-Orange Empire Conference twice while leading the Dons to an OEC Championship in 1990.
 
He continued to punish opposing pitchers after transferring to Texas A&M where he led the Aggies in batting average (.359), homeruns (7), runs batted in (59) and walks (43) in 1991. He was named team MVP and won the team Triple Crown award while helping the Aggies qualify for the regional playoffs twice.
 
Colby earned his bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach as well as a Master’s Degree from National University. After his playing days, he began teaching and coaching baseball which he still does today.
