SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Santa Ana Men's Basketball team led from start to finish and walked away with its first win of the 2021-22 season after defeating the El Camino Warriors (0-4) by a score of 77-65 in Wednesday's non-conference matchup.

But the Warriors worked their way back into the game to cut the lead to seven as they went into the halftime break with the score at 37-30.

In the second half, El Camino continued their attempts to come back and stayed within striking distance for much of the half. With 16:40 remaining, Santa Ana saw its lead dwindle to four (41-37)  after the Warrior's Massimo D'Amato hit a three.
