SANTA ANA- Dons men's water polo falls in the second half to the Gauchos and lost the Orange Empire Conference Match at 16-8.

Freshman Vincent Barrueta scored the first three goals of the first period with all three assists from Daniel Molina. Then in the second quarter, freshman Martin Rodriguez scored for the Dons with an assist from Vincent Barrueta. David Molina and freshman Andrew Martinez both scored in the third quarter, and finally in the fourth quarter, David Molina scored his second goal for the Dons and Vincent Barrueta scored his fourth goal.

Goalkeeper sophomore Abraham Sandoval had six steals and 19 saves for the Dons.

Dons men's water polo will play again on Nov. 1-2 in the Saddleback tournament.
