Rosas and Macias Names All-State, Five Tabbed All-OEC

SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Santa Ana College Softball team had several players earn postseason accolades after an impressive 2021 performance.

Sophomore pitcher Emily Rosas was one of the biggest standouts as she earned a spot on the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) All-State team while also collecting the Orange Empire Conference MVP award and being named to the All-OEC First Team.

Freshman infielder Shelby Macias joined her on both the 3CFCA All-State and All-OEC First teams as she produced big numbers in her first collegiate season.

The Dons also saw the trio of Jordan Westerfield, Iyari Ramirez and Airilin Ramirez be named to the All-OEC Second team.

It was a great season for Santa Ana Softball as they placed second in the OEC standings and claimed third in the conference tournaments, finishing with an overall record of 19-8, 18-6.
