SANTA ANA- The Dons wrestling team placed four athletes in the 24 team tournament hosted at Santa Ana College this past weekend. Santa Ana College took 7th place out of 24 teams.

Sophomore Andrew Gomez took second place in the 141-pounds catergory, while sophomore Tristan Steinman took third place in the 149-pounds catergory. In the 174-pounds catergory, sophomore Armon Fayyazi placed second for the Dons. Freshman Zachary Ahrensfield rounded out the Dons by ranking in third place for the 184-pounds catergory.  

The Dons will wrestle again in their first conference match on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Rio Hondo College at 7:00 p.m.
