The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's water polo team defeated Saddleback College 13-10 in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) game Wednesday afternoon at the SAC Pool.

Sophomore Karli Nihei (Fountain Valley HS) finished with five goals and sophomore Stephanie Sasaki (Valencia HS) added four goals to lead the Dons. With the score tied at 7-7 at halftime, SAC went on a 4-2 run to take a 11-9 lead into the fourth quarter. The Dons outscored the Gauchos 2-1 in the final quarter to hold on for the victory. Nihei scored four of her five goals after halftime.

Sophomore Chelsea Hybskmann (Irvine HS) and freshmen Jorja Patterson (El Modena HS), Rocio Cantoran (Valley HS) and Marilyn Aguilar (Valley HS) each added one goal for SAC. Freshman Alice Cardenas (Marina HS) finished with seven saves in goal for the Dons.
