SANTA ANA- Dons women's water polo falls to the Saddleback Gauchos at 17-6.

Freshman center Alejandra Barajas led the women's water polo team with four goals for the Dons and two steals. Freshmen Katy Salgado and Jazmin Vega also had one goal each. Freshman Kristi Mertins had an assist to Jazmin Vega's goal and had three steals for the Dons.

Goalkeeper Victoria Lopez had nine saves for Santa Ana College.

Women's water polo will play again on Oct. 28 in the LA Valley Tournament.
