SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana beach volleyball is set to start its season on Friday (2/14) with a four way meet that includes Victor Valley, Cypress and Ventura.

In 2019, Santa Ana finished 4-13 overall with a 2-8 record in Orange Empire Conference play.

SAC's number two team, Karissa Mumford and Erisa Pooee, made some noise late in the season as they finished sixth in the OEC Pairs Championships, marking the third consecutive season the program has sent a pair to the CCCAA SoCal Pair Regionals.

This year, the Dons have a whole new roster with just one returner in Kim Meza. The rest of the team has transitioned from playing on 2019 SAC Indoor Volleyball team or has transferred in.

The new season kicks off at Huntington Beach – Newland Courts starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
