Despite changing conferences after the latest rounds of realignment by the Southern California Football Association, there are a few familiar opponents for the Dons this season. The Dons open the 2012 season with a road game at Bakersfield College before hosting College of the Desert in their home opener.

The season continues at Moorpark College before the Dons host Grossmont College in their first National, Southern Conference game. SAC hits the road again to face Saddleback College before a break in conference action when they host Long Beach City College in the Dons Homecoming Game.

Orange Coast welcomes them back into conference play as the Dons try to reclaim the victory flag at LeBard Stadium before playing host to Golden West College. One final road trip lands the Dons at Palomar College before the season finale.

The Dons host Fullerton College in the 90th meeting between the two schools with the "Key to the County" on the line. Fullerton has held the "Key" for the past seasons while taking a 44-41-4 record in the all-time series with the Dons.
