SANTA ANA, Calif. - SAC Softball wrapped up the week with a 5-4 walk-off win over the No. 16 ranked Bakersfield Renegades on Friday afternoon.

The Dons came from behind, scoring two runs on hits from Mel Avila and Mia Luna in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at 4-4.

After holding the Renegades scoreless in the top of the seventh, the Dons put themselves in position to win as they loaded the bases with two outs.

Julia Ariston went the full seven innings, striking out four and earning her fifth win of the season.

Offensivley, Haley Martinez led the Dons with three hits and an RBI while Avila notched a couple hits and an RBI of her own.

With the victory, the Dons extended their winning streak to three games. They'll be back in action on Monday when they travel to play Southwestern College at 2:00 p.m.

The Dons hope to return the favor to a SWC team that beat them 4-0 back on March 25th.
