SANTA ANA, Calif. - SAC Women's Soccer hosted the LA Valley College Monarchs in a non-conference match on Friday afternoon. 

The Dons started off slow and allowed two Monarch goals in the first 35 minutes of play. They were outshot 9-0 in the first half while also being unable to earn any corner kicks. 

But in the second half, Santa Ana made some adjustments to better their chances. The Dons got off five shots, with one on target but still came up short of a goal. 

At the end of the day, SAC fell by a score of 2-0 to drop them to a record of 1-2.

The Dons will now travel to College of the Desert on Tuesday to face a 4-1 Roadrunner team that is fresh off a 2-0 win over Golden West College.
