SARATOGA, Calif. – The Dons Beach Volleyball team sent Viridiana Serrano and Mikelle Taylor to compete in the CCCAA Beach Volleyball State Championships on Saturday, May 6th. The duo took on a team from Ventura College but just fell short by a score of 2-1 (21-19, 17-21, 11-15).
Serrano and Taylor took fifth overall in the Orange Empire Conference and represented Santa Ana well as its only pair in the state tournament this year.
The Santa Ana College Beach Volleyball team finished 3-13 overall, 1-6 in conference play and had two pairs earn All-Conference honors for their efforts this season.
