SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana College will host the 2019 California Community College Athletic Association Wrestling SoCal Regionals on Saturday, December 7th inside Cook Gym.
The Don wrestling team has qualified to compete after placing second overall in the East Los Angeles Brawl Tournament on November 23rd.
Isaih Calderon (133lbs), Alireza Kaveh (141lbs) and Benjamin Navarrete (149lbs) led the way for SAC, winning their respective weight classes while Daniel Serrano (174lbs) placed third and Joseph Nava Navarrete (197lbs) finished fourth.
Santa Ana will go into the regional tournament as the sixth ranked team in the state. The action will begin at 10:00 am.
