David Buehler
Football, Class of 2021

David Buehler will go down as one of the best athletes in Santa Ana College history after posting hall of fame numbers in his only season with the Dons in 2005.

Although he was primarily a kicker, Buehler played all three phases of football as he saw time at safety, running back and gunner for punt situations.

At the end of the 2005 season, Buehler finished with seven rushing touchdowns on 11 carries, 25 touchbacks on 58 kickoffs, 24 tackles and one interception. He was named to the JC Gridwire All-American Team as well as the All-Mission Conference First Team.

Buehler went on to play at USC where he eventually earned the starting kicking job and made Second Team All-PAC-10 in 2008.

In 2009, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 5th round (172nd overall). From 2009-2012 he recorded 60 touchbacks, made 24 field goals out of 32 attempts, went 42-for-44 on extra points and made 19 special teams tackles.
