Women's Basketball, Class of 2007

During the 1999-2000 season, Atari Parker torched the Santa Ana College women's basketball record books as she set single season records for most points scored (877), scoring average (27.4), assists (189), three-point field goals (97), three-point percentage (.401), blocked shots (78), blocked shots average (2.4), steals (185) and steals average (5.78). 

Parker earned All-American status in 1999-2000 and she was named First Team All-State and First Team all-Orange Empire Conference. Parker also finished second in the state in scoring, pulled down 12 rebounds a game and set a SAC record for most steals in a game with 17. 

Parker went on to play basketball at San Jose State University (SJSU) where she led the Spartans in scoring (16.1) and rebounding (5.6) her junior season. She finished with 481 points that season which placed her among the top eight all-time SJSU single season scoring leaders. Parker was a preseason Second Team All-WAC selection her senior season and graduated with a degree in administration of justice.
