Meritorious Service, Class of 2010

Ken Purcell became a part of Santa Ana College athletics when he was a member of the basketball team under Hall of Fame Head Coach Bob Boyd.

Following his two years at SAC, Purcell played minor league baseball before joining First American Title Insurance Company. Over the years, he became actively involved in the community and Santa Ana College where he served as a member of the SAC Foundation Board while serving as the Chairman of the Athletic Hall of Fame Executive Committee.

Purcell has helped raise funds for the development of the Athletic Hall of Fame and student-athlete scholarships. Purcell was inducted into the SAC Alumni Hall of Fame in 2002.
