Harvey Chew, M.Ed.

Harvey’s passion is supporting and fostering student-athletes in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals. He worked at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) for over 10 years and joined the SAC Athletic Counseling team in the Fall, 2016 semester.  With his experience, he hopes to bridge the CSU and community college education “worlds” to better serve SAC student-athletes in their educational goals. 

Harvey attended California State University, Long Beach for both his Master’s in Education, in Counseling: Student Development in Higher Education; and Bachelor’s degree in Science, in Kinesiology: Sports Psychology and Coaching.
