SANTA ANA- Dons tie 2-2 in the first conference match of the season against Golden West.

In the first half of the conference opener, the Dons were on the attack offensively with 9 shots on goal. In the 25th minute, the Rustlers scored the first goal with a header to lead the half at 1-0.

Freshman Matheus Cuhna scored the first goal for Santa Ana College in the 60th minute to tie the match at 1-1. Then in the 70th minute freshman Leonardo Oliveira tapped in a goal from an assist by freshman Christian Gutierrez to take the lead at 2-1. The Rustlers were not finished yet and scored one more goal in extra time to tie and end the game at 2-2.

Men's soccer will play again on Friday, Sept 16, at Norco at 3:00 p.m. in their second conference match.
