SANTA ANA - After their offensive explosion yesterday, the Dons offense struggled in their 3-2 loss to East Los Angeles College marking the second time the Dons have lost the second game of back-to-back games.

East LA built a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals in the 19th and 29th minutes. It wasn't until the 49th minute that the Dons offense was able to break through on the score sheet. After the Huskies goalkeeper misplayed a ball in the box, Xochitl Sandoval took advantage of the mistake and scored on the empty net.

The Dons continued to look for the equalizer and finally found it in the 83rd minute when Claudia Quintero sent a through ball in that found Kristina Alatorre who scored on a shot inside the left post.

The tied lasted just one minute as East LA came right back down the field to score the go-ahead goal and claim the 3-2 victory.

Monica Hernandez made six saves for the Dons while allowing three goals in 90 minutes. Her counterpart, Belen Rodriguez, made two saves while allowing two goals to earn the win.
