Dons Lose Season Series to Orange Coast Following 3-0 Loss

SANTA ANA - For the second time this season, the Dons were shut out by Orange Coast College as the Pirates claimed a 3-0 win over SAC in an Orange Empire Conference match.

While they could have lead by more if not for the post, the Pirates (13-3-0, 9-3-0) took a 1-0 lead into the half against the Dons (3-12-2, 2-8-2) on a goal by Courtney Garrity in the 40th minute.

Garrity added her second goal in the 55th minute before Emma Pridmore capped the scoring in the 61st minute. Pridmore also assisted Garrity's second goal while Kiley Leshin assisted Pridmore's goal.

Monica Hernandez made eight saves for the Dons while her counterpart, Katelyn O'Banion, turned away all four shots she faced for the Pirates.

The Dons hit the road on Friday when they face Santiago Canyon College at 3:00 p.m.
