SANTA ANA - Riding a pair of two-goal performances from Karina Quintero and Xochitl Sandoval, the Dons rolled to a 6-2 victory over visiting Fullerton College in an Orange Empire Conference match.

The Dons (4-13-2, 3-9-2) scored their first two goals in the first 10 minutes of action. Claudia Quintero scored in the third minute with Kristina Alatorre assisting before Xochitl Sandoval scored in the 10th minute, putting the Dons up 2-0.

Alatorre got a goal of her won in the 21st minute, assisted by Karina Quintero, to put the Dons up 3-0 heading into the half.

Fullerton (4-14-1, 2-10-1) broke up the shutout in the 53rd minute when Kerry Doyle scored on a Jazmin Diaz assist. But the Dons returned the favor minutes later when Keila Tenorio set up Sandoval's second goal of the game.

Diaz added a goal to go along with her assist when she scored in the 76th minute, cutting the Dons lead to 4-2 before Karina Quintero scored a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes. Her first came in the 80th minute on an assist by Claudia Quintero before scoring her second goal in the 86th minute on an assist by Tiffany Martinez.

Katie Delgado and Monica Hernandez split time in goal for the Dons. Delgado didn't face a single shot while Hernandez made three saves while allowing both goals. For the Hornets, Nadia Ruiz faced 17 shots, turning away 11 while allowing all six goals.
