Dons Fall to Norco College 1-0 on Goal Late in First Half

SANTA ANA -The Dons had a few opportunities to give their home fans a show for the final time this season but it was their opponent, the Norco College Mustangs, who found the back of the net as the Dons lost 1-0 in the Orange Empire Conference match.

The deciding goal came in the 45th minute when Jenna Hinick headed in a Taylor Estrada corner kick, giving the Mustangs (7-9-1, 6-7-1) the 1-0 victory.

The Dons (4-14-2, 3-10-2) pressed late but were unable to find the equalizer despite a handful of scoring opportunities. Their best shot came in the final minutes when Tiffany Martinez sent a shot for the far corner, but Norco's keeper, Jordan Crosby, extended out for her ninth, and final, save of the game.

For the Dons, Katie Delgado and Monica Hernandez again split time in goal. Delgado allowed the goal on the only shot she faced while Hernandez made four saves in the second half.
